Keli Goff is a blogger and political commentator best known for her regular contributions to the homepage of the Huffington Post and her appearances on various television networks [1] as a political pundit, most notably during the 2008 presidential election. She has appeared on CNN, the Fox News Channel, the BBC, MSNBC and other networks. She is the author of the book, "Party Crashing: How the Hip-Hop Generation Declared Political Independence."[2]
Goff has appeared multiple times on news programs such as CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 and Lou Dobbs Tonight, MSNBC's “Morning Meeting with Dylan Ratigan” and Live with Dan Abrams and Fox News Channel's Fox and Friends. Her commentary has also been heard on Bloomberg Radio and NPR. Goff has written extensively about the role of young voters and minority voters in American politics. A former political operative, she also discusses campaign and media strategy. She also occasionally covers pop culture.
During the 2008 election she was a regular contributor to the BET public affairs program "The Truth With Jeff Johnson" and an editorial contributor to RushmoreDrive.com.
She is currently a regular contributor to the Huffington Post and a political blogger for TheLoop21.com. Her essay “Living the Dream” is featured in the collection, "The Speech: Race and Barack Obama's A More Perfect Union". Her writing has also appeared in the magazines TIME, UPTOWN and Cosmopolitan.
Her second book will be published in fall, 2010 by Simon and Schuster’s Atria Books.
She holds a BA from NYU and a Master's in Strategic Communications from Columbia University. A native of Missouri City, Texas, she is a graduate of Elkins High School.
